Pfizer Helpful Answers®  ( This is one example of an industry program.  All the existing industry programs are accessible through the umbrella program PPA)

For over 20 years, Pfizer has been helping patients in need get access to Pfizer medicines. Today, this help is provided through Pfizer Helpful Answers – a family of programs to help people without prescription coverage save on many Pfizer medicines, no matter their age or income. People with limited income may even qualify to get their Pfizer medicine for free. Consumers without prescription drug coverage who need a Pfizer medicine can call the Pfizer Helpful Answers toll-free number, 1-866-706-2400, or visit the web site, www.PfizerHelpfulAnswers.com. Pfizer Helpful Answers is a joint program of Pfizer Inc and the Pfizer Patient Assistance Foundation™.  In the last five years, Pfizer’s Patient Assistance Program (Pfizer Helpful Answers) has have helped more than 5 million patients receive $51 million in Pfizer prescriptions.  In 2008 alone, Pfizer distributed more than 6.5 million  Pfizer prescriptions for free or at a savings to 936,000 patients – including patients helped through the Together Rx Access Program. On May 14th , 2009 Pfizer launched a new program available through Pfizer Helpful Answers called MAINTAIN (Medicines Assistance for Those who Are in Need), which is designed to help recently unemployed Americans and their families who have lost their insurance and who are taking Pfizer medicines to continue treatment at no cost for up to one year. The program will be open for enrollment through December 31, 2009 and applies to eligible Americans who have become unemployed since January 1, 2009.
