Guidelines for Grant Applications
______________________________________________________
In 2009, the Mental Health Foundation provided grant support to the Albany-based ClearView Center to kick off it’s “It’s Okay To Talk About It” grant program. The program is aimed at providing college-age students with resources and supports to be able to manage mental health issues together with their family and friends.
The ClearView Center’s InSights program is a unique peer-to-peer initiative offered on five college campuses throughout the Capital Region. In 2009, alone, the initiative reached thousands of college students and provided them with courage, perspective, information and hands-on guidance to available help. Services including multi-family meetings, student-to-student meetings, mental health education, online discussion forums as well as individual support are offered as part of this important initiative.
For more information on InSights, contact the ClearView Center at 435-9931, ext. 229, or email at insights@clearviewcenter.com.
